EFJ Grantee: CCLFMC Flagstaff Heritage Tours Visitor Center Handover Ceremony

EFJ Grantee: Manning Boy's Home Handover Ceremony

Construction Resource and Development Company (CRDC) one of the few construction NGOs in Jamaica, received a grant from the Foundation valued at $7 million in August 2008 to conduct repair works to Manning’s Boy’s Home following the passage of Hurricane Dean.


On Wednesday September 30, 2009, CRDC in conjunction with the Child Development Agency (CDA) and EFJ will be a hosting a handover ceremony to signify the renovated building of the Home. The event will be held at Manning’s Boys Home, Southfield, St.

Upcoming Projects

The design and planning phase is almost complete on the following projects:


The Jamaican Biodiversity component will seek to develop a range of interventions including: information gathering, conservation, training and the establishment of a virtual herbarium all geared at the conservation of the country’s biological diversity with a focus on endemic species.

Dunn's River Watershed Management Project - Earth Day Tree Planting Event

The Environmental Foundation of Jamaica (EFJ) in partnership with the Friends of the Sea (FOTS) and the Forestry Department hosted an Earth Day Tree Planting Event on 22 April 2003 at the Dunn's River Watershed above the Dunn's River Falls and Beach Park.
